What did you do before DICE?
I worked at another startup; it was a mobile payments and loyalty app. But then one day, in the time it took me to walk from my desk to a meeting room, I bought tickets on DICE to see Leon Bridges. I started using the app from then on and sent in a job application. I made it look like the app – very professional.
What's the best thing about working here?
What we’re trying to do here at DICE. Helping people experience live events and create memories. It’s pretty cool that that’s the reason we come to work.
What project are you most proud of?
Friends on DICE. You can find an event you’re interested in, but if you don’t know who else might want to go, the app can recommend one of your friends. It’s not a very well known feature on DICE yet, but it’s my favourite one.
What was your first gig, last gig and favourite gig?
First one was Neon Trees at a park in Singapore. At the ripe old age of 19 – late bloomer. Last one was Cassia at Scala, London. And my favourite was Crystal Fighters at Dot To Dot Festival.
